About Us

Kilbury Construction Ltd. was founded by Managing Director, Colin Westbury, in the year 2000 and has grown to be a well established family run company working in Gloucestershire and the surrounding Counties.

Our General Works department handles work ranging from repairs and maintenance, refurbishment and conversion through to new build. These works are run by hands on staff that evaluate the estimating process and manage the works that facilitates close, seamless control of the project. From site the works are managed by time served Working Foremen.

Our Major Works department focuses on larger residential dwellings, ecclesiastical, education, offices and commercial properties. Dedicated individuals are responsible for each stage of the process from Estimating through to Surveying and Contracts Management which allows point of responsibility and ease of communication for all parties involved. Site Managers control day to day operations of the site with support from head office as necessary.

Our aim is to provide a professional and personal service on a “one stop shop” basis for all the projects we undertake and to our exacting high standards.

Both divisions work on the Local Authority Framework for approved contractors specialising in education where repeat business displays the ability to perform on a consistent basis. Many of the education projects are planned to accommodate the needs of the schools as a primary concern. We also operate in the NHS environment as well as blue chip companies, charitable trusts, residential and local businesses where we pride ourselves on repeat business proving we are always able to deliver.

Our maxim reflects the company ethos “solutions not problems – construction with a difference”. We will endeavour to provide solutions, both technical and cost effective, to bring the project to a successful conclusion.

We have now added the division Kilbury Conservation, a natural development of the company, employing experienced people from the preservation and conservation industry to expand the range of services we offer. These now include everything from specialist structural repairs, damp proofing and basement conversions to the elimination of fungal decay and wood boring insects.
